Carlo W. Colesanti
President & Chief Executive Officer
Carlo came to the Company from Nexcore Technology, which he joined in 2015 as President & COO, and in 2017 was promoted to President & CEO. He then led the acquisition and integration of Phase 2 Medical Manufacturing and Proven Process Medical Devices and launched the new market brand NextPhase Medical Devices LLC.
James V. DiVizio, CPA
Sr. Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Jim came to the Company from Nexcore Technology, which he joined in 2015 as Vice President, Finance and was promoted to his current role in 2017. He has over 25 years of experience and is adept at evolving and driving strategic vision in both private-equity and corporate environments.
Jim is a leader with demonstrated ability to prioritize complex projects in all facets of financial and change management while improving financial and operating performance.
Previously, he served in various private-company CFO roles and was a Partner at Ernst & Young, where he worked for 20 years and directed client engagements from $20 million to $10 billion, focusing on manufacturing and consumer product businesses. Jim graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Robert A. Olsen
Chief Commercial Officer
Rob came to the Company as Vice President, Sales & Marketing in 2017 from Nexcore Technology with more than 25 years of experience in the medical device outsourcing industry and was promoted to his current role in 2020. Most of his experience has been focused on business development across a broad spectrum of electronic and disposable medical devices, where he has developed and executed strategies that have led to significant growth.
Rob’s previous role was at Vention Medical, where as Vice President, Business Development he led a team responsible for identifying, securing, growing, and retaining business that helped create substantial value and resulted in a successful exit event for shareholders.
Earlier, he served as Vice President, Business Development at Flextronics International, and as Director, Business Development at Nypro.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Nichols College.
Michael W. Kilday
Vice President, Quality Assurance & Compliance
Michael joined the company in 2021 and is a leader with experience at both medical device OEMs and CMO’s. He has deep know-how in developing Quality Organizations and improving Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with FDA and international requirements. He also has hands-on expertise in engineering, new product development, and operational quality.
Donald S. Devost, SMC, SPOC, SAFe SA
Vice President, Operations
Don joined the company in 2018 as Senior Program Manager initially tasked with building a Program Management Office (PMO). In 2019 he was promoted to Director, PMO & IT and in 2020 was again promoted to his current role where he oversees Operations in Rochester, NH and Tijuana, Mexico. He has deep expertise in both Agile Development and Lean continuous improvement methodologies, and Co-Chairs the Company’s Lean Committee.
Prior to joining NextPhase, Don was a Scrum Master at FastCap Systems, an MIT start-up where he helped transform this innovation company into a Lean-Agile culture. He implemented Scrum and Kanban frameworks and developed best practices while scaling Agile across the organization. Other notable experiences included roles with Ontegrity as Director, IoT & Data Analytics, and at Aquent, as Project Manager & Facilities Technical Engineer.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Granite State College, is a Certified Scrum Master, and serves as an Advisory Board Member to the Ithaca College Cybersecurity Program.
During his military service with the United States Marine Corp stationed with the Presidential Helicopter Squadron in Washington, DC, Don was meritoriously promoted twice and was awarded the Presidential Service Badge. During his tour of duty, he led 35 missions around the world in support of the President of the United States and held a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
